These Terms of Use and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between Creative World of Montessori (“CWM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the parent(s), guardian(s), authorized representatives, website visitors, or users (“you” or “family”) who enroll a child in our program, use our services, schedule a tour, contact us, or access our website.

By enrolling your child, using our services, accessing our website, browsing our website, or submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Purpose of the Website

The Creative World of Montessori website is provided for informational purposes and to enable communication between you and CWM.

The information provided on the website is general in nature and may include information about our Montessori philosophy, programs, classrooms, locations, parent resources, testimonials, admissions, scheduling, and related services.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any website information at any particular time. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.

Any information you provide or that we collect through the website will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Enrollment and Admission

Enrollment is subject to availability, completion of required forms, student eligibility, and payment of applicable fees.

Creative World of Montessori reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate enrollment if, in our reasonable judgment:

  • We are unable to meet a student’s needs
  • A family fails to comply with these Terms
  • A family fails to comply with program policies
  • A family fails to comply with applicable Ohio law
  • Continued enrollment presents a concern for the safety or well-being of the student, other students, staff, or the school community

Enrollment forms, including health and medical records, emergency contacts, custody documentation, pickup authorizations, and consent forms, must be complete and current at all times.

Families are responsible for promptly updating CWM whenever enrollment information changes.

3. Ohio Licensing and Program Standards

Creative World of Montessori operates in compliance with applicable Ohio laws, licensing requirements, and program standards.

These may include requirements related to:

  • Staff-to-child ratios and group size requirements, where applicable
  • Background check requirements for staff
  • Health and sanitation standards
  • Mandatory reporting obligations for suspected child abuse or neglect
  • Fire safety, emergency preparedness, and building inspection requirements
  • Student safety, supervision, and recordkeeping requirements

CWM is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate Montessori learning environment.

4. Montessori Curriculum and Educational Programming

Creative World of Montessori focuses on the comprehensive education of students from age 3 to 15 throughout the Dayton region and greater Miami Valley area.

Our Montessori program is designed to ignite a passion for learning while helping students develop important academic, social, emotional, and life skills.

Programming may include:

  • Multi-age classrooms designed to encourage collaborative learning and leadership
  • Individualized, self-driven lessons guided by teachers
  • Hands-on Montessori materials and active learning experiences
  • Opportunities for students to pursue interests and passions
  • Community-based learning that supports social, emotional, and physical development
  • Classroom environments designed to feel natural, inspiring, and home-like

CWM reserves the right to modify curriculum, classroom assignments, teacher assignments, schedules, activities, and program offerings at any time to maintain program quality, staffing requirements, student safety, and regulatory compliance.

5. Fees, Tuition, and Payment

Tuition rates, registration fees, and other applicable charges will be communicated to families in writing at the time of enrollment and updated as needed with advance notice.

The following payment terms apply:

  • Tuition is due according to the schedule specified in your enrollment agreement.
  • Late fees may be assessed for payments not received by the due date.
  • Enrollment, registration, or application fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • Returned checks or failed electronic payments may be subject to a returned-payment fee.
  • Families are responsible for maintaining timely payment of all tuition, fees, and charges.
  • CWM reserves the right to suspend or terminate enrollment for accounts with outstanding unpaid balances.

Termination of enrollment does not relieve the family of any outstanding financial obligations.

6. Attendance, Drop-Off, and Pick-Up

For the safety of all students, the following attendance, drop-off, and pick-up policies apply:

  • Only individuals listed as authorized on the student’s enrollment record may pick up a student.
  • A valid, government-issued photo ID must be presented upon request.
  • CWM staff will comply with custody orders and court documentation on file.
  • Families are responsible for providing updated legal or custody documentation.
  • CWM is not liable for compliance issues resulting from a family’s failure to provide current documentation.
  • Students not picked up by closing time may be subject to late pickup fees.
  • If authorized contacts cannot be reached within a reasonable time, CWM may contact law enforcement or child protective services in accordance with Ohio law.
  • Absences should be reported to the program in advance whenever possible.

7. Health, Illness, and Medical Policies

To protect the health of all students and staff, CWM enforces health and illness policies in accordance with applicable Ohio requirements and school policy.

Families agree that:

  • Students must be current on all immunizations required by Ohio law or have a valid exemption on file.
  • Students exhibiting symptoms of communicable illness may be isolated and the parent or guardian will be notified for prompt pickup.
  • Symptoms may include fever, vomiting, uncontrolled diarrhea, rash of unknown origin, or other symptoms determined by staff to require exclusion.
  • Students must be symptom-free for the period required by Ohio law or program policy before returning.
  • Prescription medications may only be administered with written authorization from the parent or guardian.
  • All medications must be in original labeled containers.
  • In a medical emergency, staff may call 911 and contact the parent or guardian immediately.
  • CWM staff are not responsible for decisions made by emergency medical personnel.

8. Behavioral Expectations and Discipline

Creative World of Montessori is committed to supporting the whole child, including each student’s social, emotional, and physical development.

Our approach emphasizes:

  • Respectful communication
  • Student independence and responsibility
  • Positive guidance
  • Emotional development
  • Community-building
  • Collaboration with families
  • Safe and respectful classroom behavior

Discipline practices will comply with applicable Ohio requirements and will not include:

  • Physical punishment of any kind
  • Withholding food, rest, or bathroom access as discipline
  • Emotional abuse, humiliation, or threats

CWM may develop individualized behavior support plans in collaboration with families when needed.

Persistent or serious behavioral concerns that pose a risk to the safety of other students, staff, or the school community may result in suspension or termination of enrollment following notice and consultation with the family, when appropriate.

9. Mandatory Reporting

Applicable CWM staff are mandatory reporters under Ohio law.

Staff are legally required to report suspected child abuse or neglect to the appropriate public children services agency or local law enforcement.

CWM will not be liable for reports made in good faith pursuant to this legal obligation.

10. Use of the Website

Creative World of Montessori grants you a limited, non-exclusive right to access and use the website and its content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

You may not use the website or its content for commercial purposes unless expressly authorized in writing by CWM.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website
  • Interfere with any other party’s use or enjoyment of the website
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to website accounts, computer systems, servers, or networks

You may have the opportunity to receive phone calls, SMS messages, or text messages from Creative World of Montessori for purposes related to enrollment, scheduling, tours, program updates, tuition, school communications, student safety, emergency communications, or services you have requested.

By providing your phone number or mobile number to CWM, you consent to receiving such communications from us.

You represent that you have authority to receive messages or calls at the number you provide.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary based on the nature of your request or enrollment status.

You may opt out of non-essential text communications by contacting CWM. Certain transactional, safety-related, emergency, or service-related communications may still be necessary for enrollment or program participation.

13. Third-Party Sites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including social media platforms, scheduling tools, employment platforms, payment systems, video platforms, or educational resources.

Third-party websites are not under the control of CWM, and we are not responsible for:

  • The content of third-party websites
  • Links contained on third-party websites

14. Media, Photography, and Intellectual Property

Separate written consent is required before CWM may use photographs or recordings of your child in external-facing materials, including website, social media, advertising, or marketing materials.

CWM retains all rights to its name, logo, curriculum materials, website content, written materials, images, graphics, designs, classroom materials, and program content.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, lease, create derivative works from, or otherwise use CWM materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

15. Relationship to Inspire Center for Learning

Creative World of Montessori is in the same building as Inspire Center for Learning, a dynamic and educational childcare learning center for children from infants through toddlers.

CWM may reference Inspire Center for Learning on its website or provide links for families seeking infant or toddler care. Use of Inspire Center for Learning services may be subject to separate terms, policies, and enrollment requirements.

16. United States Only

Creative World of Montessori is based in the State of Ohio in the United States.

The website and services are intended for use by individuals located in the United States. We make no claims that the website or its content is accessible, appropriate, or lawful outside of the United States.

Access to the website may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries.
